We need a program that can connect the MIDI output of existing DAWs to the existing platforms of Bluetooth, or WIFI, in order to transmit MIDI data wirelessly. The primary application of this software would be syncing multiple computers via MIDI timecode for live performance.
1. We are not looking for a hardware solution, as these already exist.
2. We are not sure if there is a general solution for this, or whether specific fixes would have to be written for specific DAWs, but the primary DAW we are looking for a solution for is ABLETON LIVE
3. We are not sure of latency issues that may arise, and this is a pertinent issue, as we are trying to sync in real time.
4. We are not sure whether Bluetooth, or WIFI would be the most appropriate platform for this type of wireless communication.
